Snacktorio is now available on Steam. This factory-cooking automation game has players build and scale food production lines. The goal is to feed the beasts that are threatening to consume the world.
Snacktorio follows the story of hungry monsters threatening to consume the world. Initially, their appetites were sated as a result of delicious food. However, it seems that the number of the monsters have grown and with it an increase in the orders. The Head Chef now requests players to be part of the kitchen brigade. They'll need to build and run new cooking factories in order to make sure that the beasts are fed.
Players also have to gather ingredients, set up food production lines, and craft gourmet meals that's inspired by cuisines from all over the world. Each one made to meet some truly particular tastes. As they go on a journey across the islands, players get to uncover what’s really stirring the beasts’ appetites.
Feeding the Monsters
To feed the hungry beasts, players have to take their orders and then come up with those delicious courses. It's important to remember that each one has distinct tastes, quirks, and intolerances. Be sure to meet the demands to make sure that the island is safe.
In preparing the foods, players can design automated kitchens using mixers, ovens, boilers, fryers, sorters, and pipes, to name a few. Each ingredient is a system. They'll have to manage timing, contamination, allergens, spoilage and other quirks as production grows. Overall, the level-based factory simulation is done in a 2D platforming setting.
To get new core ingredients, players need to explore the islands. There they can also discover new mechanics, hazards, and layouts. This helps in not only solving those strange local problems but also unlocking new dishes.
